How it works
Add your files
Drop them on the converter or choose them from your device. The format is detected automatically.
Choose a format
Pick the target format for each file or for all of them at once. Adjust quality and size if you like.
Download the result
Press “Convert” and download the finished file. With several files you can download them all at once, one by one or in a single ZIP archive.
Your files stay yours
Most online converters upload your files to their servers. allConverter does not: the conversion software is loaded into your browser and works on your device.
- Your files are not transmitted, copied or stored anywhere.
- There are no databases and no user accounts.
- Results stay in your browser's memory until you close the page.

Good to know
- The first audio or video conversion downloads the conversion engine (about 10 MB). Later ones start right away.
- Speed depends on your device: a long video can take several minutes.
- From PDFs and presentations the text is extracted: the original layout is not recreated.
- Password-protected or DRM-protected files cannot be converted.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, using technologies such as WebAssembly. The site only sends the conversion software to your device; your files never leave it.
Is allConverter free?
Yes, it is free and needs no sign-up. The service may be funded by clearly labelled advertising.
What is the maximum file size?
It depends on your device's memory. For video the technical limit is about 2 GB; on phones it is best to stay below 300–500 MB. Images up to about 100 megapixels.
Why is the first video conversion slower?
On the first audio or video conversion the browser downloads the FFmpeg conversion engine (about 10 MB). It is then kept in the browser cache, so later conversions start right away.
Does a Word document converted to PDF look identical?
Text, headings, lists, tables, images and basic formatting are kept, but the layout is recreated: margins, fonts and page breaks may differ from the original. For an identical copy, use “Export as PDF” in Word or LibreOffice.
Can I extract the text from a scanned PDF?
No: a scanned PDF only contains images. You can, however, convert its pages to PNG or JPG.
Which browsers are supported?
Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and Opera, on computers and phones.
Can I use allConverter for any file?
You may convert files you own or have permission to use. Copy protection (DRM) cannot be bypassed and password-protected files cannot be converted. See the terms of use.
